Erdogan’s Advisor Comments on Agreement Between Syrian Interim Government and SDF

President’s Chief Advisor and Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Legal Policies Council, Mehmet Uçum, made statements regarding the agreement reached between the Syrian interim government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Describing the agreement as the dismantling of an imperialist project, Uçum stated, “It is important for this agreement to demonstrate the effects of the ‘Terror-Free Turkey’ goal on the region and in terms of the perspective of a terror-free zone.”

Furthermore, Turkey will continue its high-level solidarity with the Syrian Revolutionary Administration against Israel’s aggressions towards Syria’s Unity.”

The agreement reached between the Syrian Revolutionary Administration and the SDF indicates the initiation of the dismantling process of any imperialist separatist project attempted to be realized using the Kurds of the region.
